Today was my first training session back since the initial pain. Not good! I only managed just over normal walking pace and only for 1.5 miles. I had to stop after that both for fear of hurting my foot again and due to my frustration in not being able to push myself more.
It's so annoying that I can't push myself and all the training I did before will not be lost! I'm hoping to go for a 'walk' tomorrow. Obviously due to where I am it won't be particularly long, but with the copious amounts of snow we've had it should be strenuous, and at least it's not walking on a treadmill! So frustrating. I know I've got to just keep at it, but I feel so weak and annoyed at myself that I injured myself in the first place.
I'll just have to take it slow for the next few weeks and use the weights room as much as possible so I can still feel like I've had a workout afterwards.
